Bob Marley’s recorded version of the speech hit the airwaves in 1976. Why are these words as relevant and urgent now, 53 years after they were originally penned?

Following the election of Donald Trump to the presidency of the USA, an election in which Trump unabashedly utilized racist rhetoric and assumptions, Black people in that country and throughout the world have begun to strategize the means by which we might resist expected anti-Black discrimination.  UCLA Professor, Robin D.G. Kelly, suggests five areas of resistance.
